Following a temporary pause in the national Canada Post labour disruption at the end of 2024, Canada Post workers may go on strike as early as May 22, 2025.
While a resolution may still be reached, the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe is encouraging residents and businesses to prepare for potential service disruptions which could delay delivery of important Township documents such as property tax bills, invoices & payments.
To avoid delays or late penalties and stay on top of your payments:
- Sign up for e-billing
- Enroll in a pre-authorized payment plan
- Pay at the municipal office by cash, cheque or debit
- Pay through your financial institution
- Pay by Credit Card online - 2.5% service fee applies
