Due to heavy rains this afternoon and evening, localized flooding has occurred in parts of southwestern Middlesex County. Municipal officials ask that if you live in Adelaide Metcalfe, Southwest Middlesex or Newbury, please stay home and avoid travel tonight. Some municipal roads have been closed, and the OPP has confirmed that the 402 is closed between Navoo Rd (Exit 44) and Kerwood Rd (Exit 56).
