The Council of the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe has declared a vacancy for the office of Councillor following the resignation of a sitting member who is no longer eligible to serve due to residency requirements. In accordance with Section 263(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, Council has opted to fill the vacancy by appointment. Individuals who are qualified to hold office under the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 are invited to submit an application for consideration.
Applicants are required to complete the the "Application for Municipal Councillor Appointment" and provide a letter of interest outlining their qualifications, experience, and reasons for seeking appointment to Council.
